Who is Rosie the dog?
Rosie is the rescue dog at the center of My Dog Is Better at This Than Me by B.K. Larrikin. She is a mixed-breed dog of uncertain heritage (the shelter called her a 'lab mix'), weighs roughly sixty pounds, and serves as the book's accidental mindfulness instructor across 10 chapters. As she appears in the book, she is a composite based on the real dogs the author has loved — but the stories, behaviors, and lessons are drawn from actual experience.
